I saw something on American Shooter last night that comes in a big bucket and you dunk your entire pistol in it and let it sit for a few minutes for cleaning. I didn't catch the name. Is anyone familiar with it? (I imagine its not meant to get the bore clean, just the internal parts, etc but I'd like to read more about it)

Thanks for the link, that's exactly what I was looking for. They were a little misleading on the show where the product was featured. Looks like a big expensive tub-o-crap to me. I guess if you're afraid to detail strip, it might get some of the gunk out that you can't get to, but other than that, I don't see the point at all. Detail stripping is free, and easy.

Hey BoogerSnax, Rupert may be able to detail strip a Glock, but keep him away from forks!

Sorry KB4IFS, it's not Rupert. It was Ruprecht, the Monkey-boy! :)

I was a little surprised the first time I saw my county SD's cleaning method. They have an automotive parts washer filled with solvent that they dunk the field stripped duty Glocks into to soak submerged. Then they're blown dry with compressed air.

Then they wonder why the guns don't work well!
