The other day while unloading the Mini Draco I noticed a dimple on the primer. It's been chambered a couple of times and unloaded but never fired. I've moved it to the bottom of the magazine but I want to make sure there's not a problem with the gun itself. It's only got about 300 rounds through it so far and I don't want to end up with a slam fire on my hands. Does the action on the AK make contact all the time like this or is it just my weapon?

One phrase:
"Free Floating Firing Pin"

The firing pin will impact the primer when a round is chambered.
Not hard enough to detonate it but enough to put a light dimple in the primer.
Normal for an AK

It's actually a really bad practice to rechamber a round in a defensive firearm. What happens is the pin slowly dimples the primer each time and shoves the priming mixture out of the way of the anvil just a wee bit. eventually after two or more times the primer becomes almost unable to ignite the round and gives a first round malfunction.

Preferrably the best thing to do in a defensive firearm is to never rechamber a dimpled primer and removed once loaded rounds from your first line ammo to your practice ammo. This is particularly true of daily carry ammo which should be swapped out completely every few months anyway.
