I think I got a good deal yesterday. A dillon 550 press, .45 and .40/10mm caliber conversions, an old set of RCBS .40/10mm dies and 4,000 once fired mixed head stamp brass. The guy told me he was retired from the police department and police range officer gave him all this brass. ???????? The brass is a combination of 10mm, .40 S&W, 38 special, and .45acp all sorted by calibers in 3 large boxes. This was a package deal off Craigslist for $ 350.00 I think its all there except for one of the tool holders locator pins possibly a few other small parts. I called Dillon today and as everyone stated in the past their customer service is top notched. This is my first progressive press and I think I will send it in for the $47.95 refurbishing job. I want them to go through the press and make it like new and update it with the Lock-Link Bell Crank assembly and add the early primer buzzer. I guess adding these couple of things will make it a 550B. Dillon should also rebuild the older style powder measure with spring assembly. Does anybody have an old manual or mechanical breakdown for the old style powder measure with spring assembly?
