i just popped a bag of green, red and silver kisses i had from xmas and noticed that they are very hard and almost crunchy when biting down on them. just wondering if hershey screwed up on the recipe, the age of them, or maybee the cold weather may have something to do with the hardness.

I bought a bag at the dollar store and they were crunchy too.

    Turns out they were old!

If you have the bag, check the date.

Normally when I get old ones from the dollar store they have formed a layer of lighter brown almost powder on the outside. Other than that they are fine.
