I just realized that I think I have a 30 and not the 30sf. The slide says 30 and the frame is marked sf. So I thought it was a 30sf. Now I realize that this is an error on my part, right? I just read somewhere that all use the sf frame?

What is the real difference in the three anyways? Just a little bit narrower frame and/ or slide?

If the frame says SF, it's a 30 SF, or short frame. (shorter from the back of the mag well to the front) The 30S is the gen 3 SF frame with a thinner 36 slide. The large frame gen 3 models stopped using the standard frame a short time ago and only use the SF frames now so the standard gen 3 models 20, 21, 29, and 30 are no longer being produced.
