Did I waste $20.00 ? SpyCleaner Gold

    For some reason I purchased SpyCleaner Gold while surfing today.
    Is this software any good? Anybody else hear of it? Use it?;c

    Nope, nope, and I don't know. :)

    Seriously, DL and install Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3 and Ad-Aware(both FREE) and test them all.

    First time out, update them all and run your $20 cleaner, then AAW, then SB. See if the free ones find anything the SpyCleaner Gold missed.

    Then in a week or two, run AAW, then SB and then SpyCleaner Gold, to see if it can find anything the others couldn't.

    It is probably based at least partially on one of the other apps anyhow, since they all do the same thing, but a little redundancy never hurts!

    That's why I use either AVAST! or AVG for virus protection, and still frequently test on Trend's Housecall site. For a second opinion.
