I think there may have been a few 31s made near the tail end of gen 2 manufacture.
thair was maybe 500 gen 2 31s i have a gen 2 31 and 32 but thay are hard to fined good luck
I have a 2nd gen. from 1998 G31.
Not many made.
Gen 1 frames were replaced with Gen 2 frames in 1988. The G31/32/33 were introduced in 1998 and some early ones had Gen 2 frames.

If anyone runs across one....Please let me know.
Just get a Gen 2 22 and a .357 barrel. Same thing.

Actually, I believe there was a change in the Gen2 frame to allow it to handle the .357 when it was coming out, so there is something like 9 years worth of older G22s that are not recommended to be converted over to .357 SIG.

The Four Season's gun shop has one. But it's here in Mass., so you'd have to pay ridiculous mark-up for it (can't get Glocks made post-1998 in Mass.), and you'd have to have it shipped to your local FFL.

You could also try posting a Want To Buy ad in the Classifieds section of www.northeastshooters.com, since it's based in Massachusetts, and there's a lot of 2nd Gen Glocks to be found for sale there.

I called Glock about putting a .357 barrel in my 23 and they did say that they have to have the serial number of the gun in order to get me the right barrel, so I'm guessing they've made some changes, but you can do it.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the locking block. If I do get one, I'll find out. Since mine's been upgraded to the latest internals, I wonder if it will matter. :dunno:
