Does anyone have a link regarding Glock producing pistols with cast slides?

Did they ever ? If so, when was the time frame of this production?

    Thanks.

Can't prove a negative. What makes you think they ever did?

    I own 13 Glocks made from 1986 to 2016. Gen 1, 2, 2.5, 3, and 4.

None of them have cast slides

I highly doubt it was ever a consideration, taking into account that it started out as a military contract.

I read someplace about problems with the breechface with too much dryfiring and 'cast' slides. No idea if that poster knew chit from shinola.

Some guy from California says they did, but that is an absolute falsehood.

Wish I could find it, perhaps it was a link for that dryfire adapter that takes the place of the magazine, but they had pictures of a damaged breechface, reputedly from too much dry firing.
