Anyone add DHEA to their daily diet of Supplments?
I don't believe in supplements, so no.
Ha ha--just had to post that.
Well.... It may just be all in my head... But I took one dose and started my workout an hour later. My workout routine was one of the most INTENSE workouts that I have had in a LOOOONG time.
Cool. Because I don't even know what it is, I can't say either way if it works or if it was placebo. If your workouts are better, I don't see how it matters, except for the money spent.
My personal experience is that I couldn't tell a bit of difference when I used supplements, so I quit using them long ago.
DHEA is useless.
There are quite a few studies on the effects of it. Usually it comes up as nil. A placebo would give you a better workout from the sugar, than DHEA could ever hope to.
If you want to try something simple to help your lifting and life overall, supplement your multi with extra B12 and B6 - and take a ZMA supplement before bed. Other than that, it's all diet.
LOL! I think that DHEA is effective in men 35 and up. As long as my body thinks DHEA is working. I'm going to continue taking it. I take a 25mg dose 30 mins before a work out. My body seems to like it and my work outs are intense.
Then again it could be a mental thing.
Thanks for the info.
ps I'm going to begin a cocktail of supplements Of DHEA, B6, Zinc, Tribulus.
