    lol :)

My wingman was 'distance learning' at home today...first time using my 'inverted stripe paint'...took a few rounds to dial in the 'T' nozzle.

Well I went thru about 40 of the DG 125's last week. Loaded to 1.145" OAL over 3.7 grs TG. Wasn't able to chrono, but they feel like about a 133 PF. In my experience, every bit as good as Bayous.

Damn nice data package X, I mean that's some really good work. The HiTek coating is really a primer, which is typically applied in the .0001"-.0002" range and cured at 400 degrees F for at least 10 minutes. Thinner is correct.

    Which chrono do you use?

    "ProChrono DLX"

The export feature sold me on it...can export as a pdf summary (like I posted), a CSV file (to bring into Excel), or as plain text like this:

Name: DG Bullets 147gr FP BB @3.2gr
    Shots: 5
    Average: 881 ft/s
    SD: 2 ft/s
    Min: 879 ft/s
    Max: 884 ft/s
    Spread: 5 ft/s
    Power Factor Average: 129
    Power Factor Low: 129
    Power Factor High: 129
    Barometric Pressure: 30.4 in Hg
    Temperature: 63F
    Weight: 147 gr.
    Powder: N320
    Primer: CCI #500
    Brass: Starline
    OAL: 1.140”
    Diameter : .355”

...will edit and add a few screen captures in a few.

    CSV export example:

I have a little stand I put my phone on and this is the display (voice calls out velocity, too, if you want):

I'm digging it. Exporting in Excel sold me. I held out for a deal for like 6 months (I'm cheap), but finally caught one just north of $100. It's no LabRadar, but couldn't ask much more of it.

I’ve been ordering one quick ship pack (1100) 115gr rn a month. My wife got cranky when I ordered 4K at once and the mail man shoved the whole thing into the mailbox. She couldn’t get it out.

I was doing the same with MBC, then I noticed they weren’t showing up.

I officially have more projectiles than I have primers now. I’m down to 7k SPP. Boo.

Luckily DG had some 9mm in stock and they shipped fast.

If I could only find some primers now.

RMR is WAY behind, taking about 3 months to get an order out. They do send periodic emails saying they are (still) behind - but that's kinda obvious. However... for bullets and ALL components, I don't wait until I need them, to order them - or as we can see, I wouldn't be shooting for 3-6 month or more periods while I wait.

When I did receive a 4-6 week order, that took 11 weeks, it was 3K 147s dumped in a box, loose, no plastic bag, no kraft paper or anything taking up space... so my bullets tumbled 3,000 miles across the country, loose in a big-arse box. Wrote them a nastigram with my dissatisfaction with their packing/shipping, but got no reply. Of course I had to mention that Montana Gold doesn't do that!

I thought of you today...as I put 3,750 124gr HPs from MG in my cart today. :)

They had a few 9mm flavors today for like 5 minutes.

Not looking on MG site right now as I'm afraid I'd see my 147s in stock and feel compelled to order 3K. Already just received 3K RMR and 3K MG within a one week period. Have to let my postman forget about that a little bit.

I really like their bullets, too...tried more than a half dozen different 9mm bullets they sell and was impressed all the way around...in terms of weight/variance from advertised weight, they are probably the most consistent I've tried so far.

I'm normally a 147gr guy, but their 135gr RN FPs were pretty nice.

If you shoot RN, check BassPro from time to time, as they often have them for a few bucks cheaper than XTreme (with free shipping, too) now that Xtreme isn't offering the bulk discounts due to surge in demand....military discount from BPS if you qualify for that, too (and can stack another 6% off on a couple of those 'cash back' sites). :)

In fact, Xtreme 147s are in the queue to chrono/group with some N320 this weekend. :)

Luckily, that Pro Chrono has a compartment for an extra battery!
