Last night I had a very interesting conversation with 2 anti gun people, one of them what I might term a rabid anti gun person and the 2nd is possibly a future convert (with a lot of work) after our discussion. They had expressed their feelings about an unfortunate incident / tragedy here in a small west virginia town a short while back. But I asked them to play devil's advocate and tell me why more people should be armed, and to my surprise they actually came up with some very good reasons, many of which I have seen here time and time again. Can I now for the sake of argument ask the good folk's of GT here to do the opposite, tell me why you believe people civilians should be disarmed. Let fly, anything goes, just nothing that might get the thread locked. I really look forward to seeing what comes up.
