Work desktop - varies... it starts clean, then gets cluttered, then I clean it up again.

Had a subscription to Digital Blasphemy so I collected some backgrounds for couple years... background changes every 15 to 30 minutes...

Setup Fences to help organize my apps/files/folders... and the cool part is a Dbl-Click will hide em all when I have a WebEx conference call!

Need to get more Gun Pron, so THANKS DaneA!

    Those are my basics...

Surprised at the number of Linux desktops.

I keep mine fairly clean. Here is my current openSUSE 12.3 desktop.

I use the feature in KDE to do a slideshow of all of my pictures to change the wall paper (set to every 15 minutes).

Here is what it is right now:

This thread inspired me to clean up my work desktop.

the background changes every 10 minutes or so, with a mix of stuff I've made/taken/found.

I'd take a screenshot of my NAS, but it's just a black screen w/ some text.. ;)

No icons on my desktop, the left monitor is set up to change the background image every 10 minutes, the right is static. Most times I can't show my left desktop as I have scantily clad wimmins being shown... would violate TOS. So I put a temp backdrop on the left screen.

One thing I like about Linux is the option for multiple desktops with unique configurations! I run four right now.

Very true, I have a second monitor on my desktop as well, but I leave it blank and just use it as additional real estate for programs so I didn't include that in my screenshot.

The laptop work sent me is running windows 7, the first time I plugged a second monitor into it everything went crazy until I rebooted.

I do most of my work on my own desktop, I just keep my work laptop running for email basically.
