I was at my local gun store the other day and they had three Glock 40s in desert camo (a G22, G23 & G27). I asked if there were any in 10mm available, but he doesn't do the ordering and didn't know. Has anyone seen these? I've been wanting an OD framed G29, but the desert camo sure was cool!

I have seen the tan/camo, at a gun show, and i bought a 29 in OD, wish i had not... man that is one ugly gun! ;f

No offense to those boys who have and like the OD ;)

In fact i am thinking of selling it, and getting another in plain old black... To each his own. Looks to much like pea soup, man i hate pea soup. ;g

There out there i guess, just a matter of finding one. I would rather have the desert tan, than the OD. To 'me' at least, it looks better, but then again, the black looks 'best to me.'

    Good luck!

These weren't just tan frames. The whole gun was done in actual desert camo. Because of the pattern it has to be some kind of applied finish so I don't know how well it would wear, but it sure rated high in the "cool" department!

The finish doesn't seem to hold well on those. At the last show I went to they had one at the table with chips out of the finish just from the previous 2 days of handling, not even firing the weapon. I like my Glocks just plain old black. PGH~

All I can say is that if you carry one of these things in the Middle East, you better use a lanyard. If you ever dropped it, you'd never be able to find it. ;)

Yep, that's the one. So does anyone know if these are available in 10mm?

CanyonMan, if you do decide to sell your OD green G29 let me know.

    I think camo is getting silly now a days. Look at some of the things we camo that makes absolutly no sense;

    > lawn chair
    > tent
    > dish
    > tee shirts
    > lighters
    > now glocks

I like mine plain jane black as-is.

Your right, and don't forget those 'short sleeve' camo t-shirts!
I never understood this one. And camo underwear... this one really baffles me!

That is why i said i wanted to sell the ugly "pea green" G29 job 'I bought in haste a few months ago.'

    NordicG3K...

I would be more than glad to sell it to ya Hoss. It just sits in the safe. I'll just tell ya, out the door it was 600.00. It has "NO" rail, and standard sights, and is in "grade A perfect condition." I put a 20# wolf rod/spring setup in it, and the feed ramp is polished like a mirror, and the trigger bar is as well. It is smooth, and has just a box of bullets through it. I 'can get' 550.00 for it in these parts....... best i can do. ;)

The money actually goes back into my Ruger 45lc custom built (by me) project. I am slowly "de-glocking" myself down to just two, My G20, and my G31, with extra 40cal barrel. And i may keep the G27, for the wife. Let me know if you, ( or anyone else ), is interested.

    NordicG3K,

Just for a "GT speacial...." Let's call it $500.00 even. It really is new, (if you don't count 40/50 rds.) I 'am not' desperate to sell, but i really 'do not' want the thing, and shoot, if you want it, we can do 500.00. Heck i ain't greedy. I did buy it just a couple months ago for 600.00, and then the rod/spring was 30.00, and as i said... it sits in the safe. So if interested, there ya go. ;)

I'd buy cammy brass. That would be a reloader's nightmare.

For whatever reason, I think the G20 looks great in OD,
but the 29 only looks good in black. When I get my 29 I plan to get the stainless upper look going on with the sandpaper grips like that one guy on here has, looks sharp
