Any of you have any pointers on where to find them & when to start looking? I once saw a nice buck in Feb. that stll had his rack on, I couldn't believe he hadn't at least lost one.;)

Depending on your game and your area somewhere between Jan & April. I look in the bedding areas, along the trails to and from and the bedding areas and in the food plots. I've also seen some bucks that have carried their antlers rather late, though on the rare occasion you will be seeing a doe. They don't shed their antlers or at least that's what I have heard. I like to start looking early because if you find them later on they have usally been chewed on by the little critters. Here's a decent web page about hunting shed's if your interested.....

I built a very nice deer shed, but then my wife filled it up with her sheep ;a
