I suspect it is, but as suggested in another thread I figured I'd ask before the transaction if everyone thought it was a good deal or not.

A friend of mine is getting rid of his G29. It's about 4 years old I guess, excellent condition, and has about 3-4k rounds through it. He's also getting rid of 3 extra magazines and a leather IWB holster (not sure what brand). He's wanting $350 for the whole shooting match, so to speak.

Upside is, I already have a G20, so no additional caliber of ammo that I need to stock up on.

Downside is, I was just patting myself on the back for the restraint in spending I've been exercising so far this year.

    Should I?

That deal sucks. Give me his phone # and I'll tell him what I think of it.

That is a great deal. I just bought a lightly used G29 for $479.00. Only came with one mag. but does have an excellent grip reduction.

Well, here it is.. A G29 with a Don Hume holster for $350. My G20 has a little brother now... I'm glad I jumped on it. Thanks for all the input.

I really didn't... I just needed some reinforcement because the "save more money" angel side of my conscience wouldn't shut up. I'd have been crazy to pass it up..
