Really... in Miami where there are Cubans everywhere, he's going to quote Che Guevara? Is the man nuts?!?!

Before giving up the microphone to the next speaker, de Blasio blurted a quote from one of the most hated historical figures throughout Miami: “Hasta la victoria siempre!”

New York City mayor and 2020 presidential candidate Bill de Blasio broke the literal most-obvious rule of Miami politicking: Don't quote Che Guevara.

Given what we saw last night during the "debate", I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them stat waving Chairman Mao's "Little Red Book" around during speaches while wearing Castro type military fatigues.

Might as well wear Che and Castro Tshirts at this rate.

It might be me, because I truly dislike everyone debating yesterday, but I found it offensive for them to attempt to speak Spanish where in cases you couldn’t even make out what in heaven’s name they were trying to say.

One of my kids agreed it was bad but the reason it ticked me off was because I didn’t like them, he said had it been someone I liked I may have said something like “at least they tried”. Perhaps they are right, I’m not so sure though.

Presuming it's not a matter of ignorance on history? (Might be, but his age would make you wonder how he could've missed learning about Che.)

Well, with the current state of American politics producing hard left folks of socialist and Marxist/communist leanings, it's hardly surprising.

I always thought it was a sad commentary on our educational system when you'd see some students wear a Che T-shirt, but nowadays I'm beginning to wonder if it might more be a matter of some hard leftists actually knowing who he was and supporting his actions and political beliefs.

    When De Blasio said

"There is plenty of money in this world, and there's plenty of money in this country, it's just in the wrong hands. Democrats have to fix that,"...

...that is when I switched the channel.

I continued watching, but I will admit I fell asleep and didn't see the whole thing. It was extremely boring!

Had I watched it with the family we would have made fun of everything they said and just had a better time, but by myself? I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Hope this is the end of the communist POS's campaign.

It's hard to pick a "worst" from the clown car full of trash, but De Blasio is a very strong contender. He's the most enthusiastically communist of the bunch and nothing is lower than a communist.

    Yes! This, very much this...
The only one that spoke anything close to intelligible Spanish was Diaz-Balart.

It was painful to watch Corey Booker just butcher whatever language he ended up speaking. They lost me when they started in on the Spanish. As much as I love my roots, this is an English speaking country and using any other language in a forum like that was disrespectful.
Imagine the candidates for President of France or Spain debating in Farsi or Arabic or even English. It would be intolerable even to the "progressive" European masses.

Bill DeBlasio is, and always has been a duplicitous, sociopathic, commie POS (not that there's any other kind of Marxist).
So duplicitious he's had three different "official" names. What's Warren Wilhelm trying to hide? No, he's not nuts, he's a POS.

    That'll be De Blasio too:
Bill de Blasio Sure Sounds Like a Communist

Several people have jokingly called the man a communist, but here he is arguing against private property rights more or less on the basis of "each according to his ability, each according to his needs":
    . . .
"I think people all over this city, of every background, would like to have the city government be able to determine which building goes where, how high it will be, who gets to live in it, what the rent will be. I think there’s a socialistic impulse, which I hear every day, in every kind of community, that they would like things to be planned in accordance to their needs."

I figure De Blasio is in the "and some of the animals are more equal than others" category.
