Looking at getting another AR. Halfway tempted to get an LWRC w/ a free aimpoint, but also looking at the DD v5. Is there a better option in that price range? Or I could get a BCM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DD is a step up from BCM, skip the LWRC piston stuff, it works but not necessary, heavy and heavily proprietary (with no real advantage). DD is a good rifle, but if you're contemplating spending LWRC money, spend it on KAC instead (E3 bolt, intermediate length gas tube and mod 2 gas system offer REAL advantages).
That sounds like a pretty good buy. Bonus would be if it's a v5 LW IMHO. Tough to go wrong with DD or BCM with anything. Those two companies get most of my AR money.
