    Tabata Squats: 14,6x13,15

    Right shoulder still giving me some trouble. Grrrrr. Falling back to "do something." I was at the gym teaching one of our kids to life, so I did some left arm triceps extensions, curls, and planks. Then we ran around the track for some conditioning.

    Read about cold therapy for mood elevation. Decided to start giving it a try this morning. Last four minutes of my shower with the water as cold as it'd go.

    Late morning: Stair climbing. 4 lb added. Skipping steps. 3 ascents of 9 stories. Pushups at the top floor each time: 20, 20, 10.

    CT Day 5

    Mid-morning
    Stair climbing, skipping steps, 8 lb added. Too much traffic on my usual steps, so had to improvise. 9 stories x 1; 7 stories x 2; 4 stories x 1

    187.6. Nauseous when I woke up this morning. Ugh.

    CT Day 6

    Afternoon: I was planning to take a day off today, but my brain was locking up on a major project that's due tomorrow. I decided to stop and do some tabata squats to get some extra blood flowing to my brain and hopefully get a shot of endorphins. 14x8. Now back to work. Report: this worked extremely well. Definitely adding this to my tool chest.

    Circa 9/27 : forgot to record a couple of workouts. Did some pullups during one, but only got 5,5,3. Also added some windshield wipers: 5,5,5. Stinkin up the place.

    9/28/2019 early morning tabata pushups. 6,5x7

    Early morning, 4:30, before heading to the airport.

    Tabata Squats 13x8

    Continued CT. Lost count of number of days. It's getting quite a bit easier. The shower water will be getting colder soon..

    Late afternoon, two time zones away. Fasted 22 hours at this point. Workout before eating: tabata mountain climbers and leg raises 20,20,9. Now time to eat!

    AM: I think I got a touch of food poisoning last night. Crapped myself silly. Woke up feeling like crap probably from dehydration. Drank 50 oz of water and waited about a half-hour. Then three sets of near-max pushups with two minutes in between: 30,15,10, mostly to get some endorphins and get my day off to a better start. CT after that. Feeling pretty OK now.

    PM: Three sets of 15 pushups, 15 situps, and 30 squats for time. 10:10

    AM: tabata mountainclimbers 34 reps x 8. Continued CT.

    PM: It has been a very long day with a ton of stress, sleep deprivation, and tight deadlines. Made a huge push on the most critical project until my brain locked up at about 5 pm. Did 20 burpees, took a cold shower, and headed to dinner. Hopefully, it'll be unlocked when I get back. Edit: Worked like a charm. That's twice in a row, so it's my new go-to strategy.

    Later AM: tabata pushups 6x7,5. Very stressed out and demoralized. Needed to get the blood flowing and mood lifted.
