Apparently, Twitter's censorship kommisars believe the Director of the Federal Customs And Border Protection saying a wall stopping drug gangs, murderers, child traffickers and rapists is somehow "hateful".

Oh, after Trump gets reelected I will rejoice seeing Jack and Zuck and the rest of the tech and media oligarchs being boxed in and losing their CEO seats and billions of dollars in lawsuits and settlements for the Stalinist crap they are pushing these days.

So get off of Twitter. You're doctor will thank you. :)

    Nothing is going to happen.

They are all going to double down and nothing more.

Ironic how folks think the government forcing a private business, that is not essential to anyone's existence, with ample competition, to act in the way THEY want represents the American way...

You really should reread the definitions of nazism, fascism and stalinism before you use those words

I'me ;) not on Twitter. My doctor says I'm healthy as a horse.

And something is going to happen after the election. This country dealt with robber barons and monopolies before, this is nothing new.

I don't have Twitter, but I typed "CBP Twitter" into Google and the CBPMarkMorgan is the first result. I clicked it and it went to his Twitter page.

If the info in the 1st post was correct, that would be a pretty shocking story. Am I missing something?

I trust you. We don't need you keeling over from heart failure.

We're going to need a doctor's note however, before we can unlock your twit. :highfive:

I predict extremely invasive body cavity searches for Jack Dorsey anytime he leaves or enters the US.

    Spare me the lecture.
It may be a private business but when over 65% of Americans are getting their news from the social media and they are intentionally mislead and lied to, making these companies liable for their misdeeds also serves the public interest.

Furthermore, when they suppress information and stop it to reach their users with the purpose of helping one Party or one candidate over another, they stop being "platforms" who are protected from lawsuits, and become publishers and active political activists. This is a matter of election interference and illegal in-kind campaign contributions made by billion dollar corporations.

And let's not forget: in order to reach their users, these companies are using wi-fi and wireless radio frequencies that are owned and regulated by the government. That's how CEO's like Jack and Zuck can have their little nuts put in a vise and forced to stop pushing their agenda on the entire country.

Even Ma Bell never censored what I said on their telephones.

Imagine this scenario: the telephone company listens to all your conversations and punishes you by disconnecting your line if the people running the company decree that what you are saying over the phone is "hate speech"

If I would be Trump I'd go full Mongol on these arrogant tech billionaire sumbitches.

"The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies and chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth and see those dear to them bathed in tears, to ride their horses and clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters". --Genghis Khan.

Their socialist agenda is tearing apart and undermining the foundation of the country and the economic system that made it possible for them to become mega-wealthy.
They are not elected by us the people, yet they want to rule us by proxy.

Someone needs to remind them we are a Republic and a representative democracy, not a technocratic dictatorship.

The Supreme Court has already ruled that these large social media giants are the modern equivalent of the Public Square.

Twitter is hiding behind a current law that allows them to declare they are a platform but act as a publisher.

They cannot have it both ways...

It has nothing to do with forcing a private business to do anything other than follow the law.

I think you are missing the facts that his account was locked for 20 hours and then when it was unlocked the “offending” post had been deleted.

I don’t get my news from Twitter and yes, it is a private business, but maybe they should register as a lobbiest for the Democrat National Committee or else stop censoring political posts.

    Twitter isn't a telephone.

If you want to use a private messaging service like whatsapp or signal you can spread whatever idiotic theory you want ..

Twitter is a private business, running a free service with any number of alternatives (hint you are using one right now)...

The fact that folks are salivating at the government somehow forcefully intervening in their business shows their true colors
