Congrats to all the winners!
Great match. Congrats to all the winners.
Every time, EVERY TIME, my computer caches the prelims and I can't get the finals.
ETA- this is a plea for someone to post a link so I don't have to delete cookies and all that other crap.
I believe that if GSSF changed the file name on the finals, this cache problem may largely go away. For some reason, they keep the file name(s) the same from prelims to finals.
Quick question guys. I finished 56th in AmCiv, but off to the right it says "59 2 yr member re". Now it seems pretty clear that I got pretty lucky for my first GSFF and won an awesome prize, but what does the 59 mean? Was I 59th in the random drawing?
TIA, and I had an absolute blast at this match! I'm hoping to bring at least two more first timers with me to Conyers.
Woo hoo!! Won a $50 random goodness prize! Thanks GSSF!!!
That number refers to the order of random awards. You got the 59th random prize. And since you had less than one year left on your membership, you got a 2 year renewal instead of a $50 check.
Awesome. Thanks, dude.
Try pressing F5, or see http://www.gssfonline.com/results/2011/2011dga.pdf
Just hit the REFRESH button (the circular arrow button) on your browser, that should refresh the page instead of reloading it from cache. Or hit the F5 button like Danny said (F5 and the refresh button do the same thing).
You should not have to delete cookies or cache.
So if I got a two year membership random...do I get a gun discount purchase certificate by chance?
At least my big brother got a random pistol so he doesn't have to borrow mine anymore.
How does GSSF determine tie-breaks? I ask because I know my bro-in-law will ask me. He had a combined score that matched another person's score. He was listed behind this person, and they happened to win a random $50. Not a big deal, just curious how this works...
Random prizes are awarded by entry number, not place in category. Number of A/B hits are the tie breaker.
F5 is a lot closer than the plates and I hit that little effer at each page on my way to the finals. It may be that it is a (cough-cough) work computer, and it hates me.
Still allow me to say, ahhhhhhhhhh the refreshing taste of random goodness...
a $50 random and a random gun
It looks as though Alabama Holster placed rather well within the team rankings - 1st and 3rd in Masters and 2nd in Amateur with the Ladies Team. Ladies team members were also the recipients of some nice random prizes and hardware.
Hoping for skill in teamness and luck in randomness in Conyers - my next GSSF shoot. Right around the corner now...
No random goodness for me.
But my co-worker who was new to GSSF won a pistol as the "New Member" and he won a $50.00 random.
Another friend (the OP) won a random pistol and $50.00. Congrats BamaTrooper!!!!
The Dawsonville match was very very good to me...... Thank you Mr. Glock
Pistol, $75 placement, and $50 random. GSSF and Dawsonville match were good to me
