My local Cabelas has a shelf full of new blem Dan Wessons in the "Gun Library". As far as I know, they do not sell any full price models.

Might be worth a shot if you have a Cabelas/Bass Pro nearby.

The Plano, TX shop has at least one that I've had my eye on - you need to get it so I don't.

Bud's usually has very good selection at very good prices. But, not everyone has the patience to do a deal with Bud's, so buyer beware.

Check out twogunjay on Gunbroker. He's got the best prices around.

Yup....very strong pricing on what he has.

I've seen a pile of satisfied buyers post positive remarks on dealing with him on two other 1911-related forms I frequent.

I'd be very confident in buying one from him.

Buds....they can test your patiences at times. My first DW came from them early 2019. They actually sent the wrong model number...a limited version fo the Valor Commander vs the normal version I'd paid for. They said they'd take it back or help to make it right. I wound up keeping and am glad I did.

Best thing I can say is when dealing with Buds....make sure you get the model number and UPC of the gun you are buying and first verify that with DW to ensure there are no surprises.

If you do your homework then buying from Buds is just fine. Usually very good pricing. I've since both another Valor Commander, Razorback, PM-C and Valkyrie from them with zero issues and very solid pricing.

Just do your homework.....prior.

Good luck.

DW sells Blems (normally not even noticeable) marked with an upside down Y at the end of the serial number. I've seen several unscrupulous sellers try to pass them off as regular models. Most people don't even know what it is. But unless that's what you want (normally not a big price difference) I'd ask for a photo of the serial number.

They will also take the BLEM sticker off of the plastic case.
