Clinton. Took awhile to find who the judge was. Most articles simply said “a Federal Judge.”

Batons and elbows gonna do more physical harm. Their call.
Officers gonna get hurt as a result of this. It’s the Chiefs who should be explaining this to city leaders. If they say they don’t care, the door to lawsuits from injured officers is wide open.

Good example of an activist judge trying to legislate from the bench.

The PD should adopt the Andrew Jackson method of dealing with such judges.

"he made his ruling now let's see him enforce it"

Chief Hall (who came from Detroit if you don't know) is not well liked by her officers. The mayor refused an invitation yesterday to attend Trump's round table discussion on LE reform. A councilman revealed his ignorance and bias on the Rick Roberts local radio show 2 days ago. I drove downtown Tues and much of downtown looks terrible. Dallas has become a real chit show.

I'm trying to think where he gets the authority for this order. I mean, if he ordered DPD to do an Irish River Dance, they wouldn't be clogging. So how is he authorized to specify the form of force, especially when Circuit Courts and SCOTUS have already blessed the stuff?

My point exactly he is grossly overreaching and trying to legislate from the bench. The PD should tell him to piss up a rope.

Federal judge did the same thing elsewhere... Denver I believe? Kind of odd to see these random judges pop up and take actions like this...

I believe that Austin City Council is considering the same edict.

It would sure be a shame if looters showed up at these guys’ neighborhoods and the cops couldn’t restore order.
