I wish I could say I was shocked.
Remember: damned if you do or don't.
I have read the Arnold quote three times---I'm still not sure what she said (meant)
Let me try something...
Naw, that didn't help, either...
Crime? What crime?
Some politicians don't let the fact that they have nothing to say keep them from talking..............
That city council woman was more interested in stomping her feet and dancing to the drumbeat than anything else. Did you really expect her to back up their police?
What a bounch of D bags
Elected Idiots in office!
So apparently I am the only one who has a problem with a taxpayer paid employee spending his on duty time (presumably since he was apparently in uniform), trimming trees for a RELATIVE?
Sounds like the kind of thing he should be doing on his own time, not the tax payers.
If he was on his own time, more power to him, but why was he wearing his uniform?
I think you're one of the few that read it wrong. Try again.
If I read the article right, it was the interviewee, Jason Stringer's, grandfather, not a relative of the officer. . .
Being involved with your community and helping the elderly when possible is no way to alienate the population.........Oh, wait..........Never mind.
It was a politician, 'nough said.
There is no shortage of idiots to elect the idiots.
The council woman and neighbor are idiots. That said, an on duty officer with DPD really should be patrolling Oak Cliff if not on a call. The social work aspect really doesn't do much and Chiefs and agencies haven't figured that out yet.
Thats how I read it.
Say what???? What she say????
She said - there is a problem with the police department that I don't like and someone should do something to castigate those officers.
But I personally am not the complainer..........HA...HA What BS.
It's one thing if he's ducking calls to trim trees. He's in his patrol area, between calls, no big deal. Still minutes away from wherever he needs to be if a call comes in.
Police are damned if they DO and reay damned lf they DONT
Sounds like a little community policing to me.
