Very nice,I've always loved those.
My DD is a 03 Focus ZX3,every option but auto and leather. Hard to believe I paid $13K for it brand new.

Most definitely! They aren't very quick of the line, but once the turbo kicks in it pulls ok. The torque peak is at 1950 and doesn't drop off until 5000, so its really easy to power through turns without shifting your arm off. The tires are actually thicker than the 85 IROC I used to have way back, so it sticks nicely. Even if you get a little aggressive, the understeer is pretty manageable. It is really fun to fling around.
How about that 'vette? Have you had her on the dyno? I'm a huge fan of GM. My handle actually is based on the first year for the 'vette and the Camaro, respectively. I'd love to have an LS1 6-spd SS, but the insurance would cost me about as much as rent!

My daily driver is a 2003 Ford Focus CE. I can't believe I paid $10,000 for it used. I should have kept my 1997 Geo Prizm and gotten the power steering pump replaced.
It is a 1995 LT1 6-speed. When I first got it, I did a dyno run and the numbers weren't very impressive. 287hp and 290tq at the rear wheels. I done a few minor improvements since them, but nothing that would change the dyno numbers that much. I probably got more HP out of a good tune than I did fron any mod I have.
My mods are an intake, cowl hood, ram air, The hood and ram air were worth a 20degree drop in temps which was exactly what I was going for, these things run hot.
I have the Power Effects Exhaust which is tunable, sounds good too. 4.11 gears in the rear, and suspension stiffening with a new x-brace underneath, a camber brace up front and a roll brace that rides mid chassis. You can't imagine how twisty these vert frames are stock.. it's nuts. The braces made a WORLD of difference in the way the car handles and feels.
I don't race, never done a quarter in this car though other vettes the same year are pulling 13.2-13.4's. I like to run through the twisties, up in the mountains, blue-ridge parkway, places like that.
Here's mine, a 2005 McLaren/Brabus SLR. When I'm asleep! I don't take pictures of the P.O.S. I drive. All the money goes to the house and the kid. The rest goes to the bike. Sweet Vette and Z3 coupe. My uncle has a '98 M3. I love it when he visits.
