Laws should be based on logic and reason, and not emotion. Unfortunately, they tend to be drafted based on the latter, rarely the former.
The video, as a parent and grandfather, is difficult to watch. However the message is universally true.
This is a criminal problem, not a device problem.
I saw part of his testimony and he did a great job.
I am very sorry for the gentlman's loss of his son.
The man seems to have very good logic and reasoning. Laws are not being enforced, and the lack of parenting today, is very lacking, for too many.
May God bless this man and his family.
"Heslin said that he was "not in favor of banning guns and weapons," but he wants stricter federal and state gun laws, including a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazine clips. -- Gary Stoller USA Today I don't remember him saying that part, I think the writer just added it.
Which CT has laws in place on.
Why doesn't that surprise me from the media. A$sholes
Are you sure about that? HH
Only prebans in CT, I think. Maybe no mag ban. I've forgotten now that we'll have a new set of laws by mid year in most, if not all, restrictive states.
What's the question?
Does CT have AW and a mag capacity laws? HH
Yes, we have an AWB. Basically the same as the clinton ban except there are specific guns that are banned by name. Example, Colt AR15 is illegal, but Colt AR15A2 is fine.
Also no threaded barrels, flash hiders, bayonet lugs, collapsible stocks, etc.
We do not have mag limits(yet!).
That's stupid. Did it stop the Sandy Hook shooting?
