    One CZ 75 has grown to three and now I am looking at another one.

    The original CZ forum is the better site. The CZ design suits me. I have a couple near clones made by Canik and distributed by Tristar. They function well. The grips and sights were crude and I replaced them. If you like a steel DA/SA pistol, consider a CZ 75 B or similar. I prefer the safety verses the decocker. Most of the used CZ's I see are marked close to new prices. I would not hesitate to buy a used one at a good price. The only negative I have read about is that some CZ pistols are picky about chambering if the COL (Cartridge Overall Length) isn't where it needs to be. I don't reload 9 mm. My clones cycle everything I have tried. Greg Cote is a good source for MEC-GAR magazines. Cajun Gun Works is a good source for parts, upgrades, and custom work.

    Can't beat the design, reliability

    On a total "Why Not" beer induced "click to buy" event I got one of those SAR B6Bs (?) ... a CZ75 clone with a poly frame for all of $200 low

    It's crazy accurate and reliable

    Not recommending it, just adding it as a fan of the design ... most copied design worldwide

    Anybody recommend their (CZ's) polymer wonders? I ask because the all steel variants just dont appeal to me. I owned an Armalite AR-24 (or whatever the heck they called it) many years ago, and just couldnt warm up to the fact that you had to thumb the hammer down to carry it with a round in the chamber. I'm more a fan of modern designs. So... How about it? Any love for the modern CZ's?

    It was copied right from the start, because CZ never patented the design.

    I don’t care much for them, but many do. All steel for me.

    Look at the CZ Phantom if you are interested in polymer.

    I have 2 Shadow 2s, and looking to get a third. Accuracy is so good, it rivals my 9mm Les Baer.

    I have a P07 and it has become the first polymer pistol I can say I love. It is the same basic size as a G19 but a couple of OZ heavier.
    I have upgraded to CGW springs and short reset kit and it now has a very smooth and light DA pull and awesome SA as well with short reset. Still has slide riding in frame like the original CZ 75s.
    Here it is ready for nightstand duty;

    CZ makes good pistols. I currently have the 75B Omega and a CZ RAMI which I have owned and carried since 2006. On my list is the all steel 75 Compact. My feeling is if you are going to delve into CZ why not start out with the flagship model that started it all the CZ75 full size pistol all steel frame. From there you have several avenues to branch out into. Whatever you decide I think you will be very happy with your choice.
