My local CVS store no longer displays any gun or firearms related magazines on their rack.
However they do have the latest issue of a magazine touting the wonders of Cannabis.

    Welcome to 21st Century America!

My mind controlled friends say it's conspiracy theory but I see an overt attempt by the fascists to vilify legal firearms and their owners. Call it what you will. Saw in the news where some individuals sorely in need of psychotropic drug treatment were making themselves be offended by revolutionary war monuments.

If leftists were intelligent, they would not be leftists....

I've noticed that WalMart and Kroger are doing the same...

There was a whole big deal last year about Kroger no longer displaying gun magazines on the rack, and for a while that did indeed seem to be the case. But I happened to be strolling the aisle of our local Kroger last week and noticed a few gun mags were back. They had about three different ones. Maybe they are sneaking them back in.

    It matters not to me.

In this day and age I don't see the purpose of purchasing gun magazines; most never provide the things or topics I'm interested in, are full of subjective opinion pieces, represent old news by the time they hit the stand, and are mostly printed on non-recyclable paper.

Multiple sources of current and more up to date information that you purposely wish to obtain and learn regarding firearms and their accessories can easily and more readily be found in excess - online 24/7/365.

Umm...It's the THINKING of the Corporations that is bothersome, some LEFT WING NUTCASE decides that WE should not be EXPOSED to GUN MAGAZINES.
I have not looked at the magazine racks but do they still have the LOONEY magazines about SPACE ALIENS and the nonsense about who had a 500 million divorce settlement...

Think if it were not for gun magazines I'd be suffering from severe constipation. Always have a few on the shelf in the "library" for reference when a Code Brown alert hits.

Our camp "library" has an historical archive, some of those hunting mags are from the late 80's- early 90's. As I think about it, I'm not sure I want to touch them anymore.

I e-mailed Krogers about that. We have to stop being silent.

Tore down the pool hall and built one of those sterile-white, over-priced, CVS drug stores. Not buying anything there anyway. Rode by there about six months ago and a drunk was sprawled out front of the place with a mooch sign and candy wrappers all around him. I thought it spoke volumes.

Dang magazines are way too expensive now a days. I subscribe and it costs about what it should.
I'm supposed to get a couple GLOCK magazines sometime. The GSSF ladies said so.

Reminds me of about ten years ago when my mother was still alive and I’d take her to her appts. to the Geriatric doctor.
They’d have Fox News on the TV and were subscribed to two or three different gun mags which would be scattered around the waiting area.
I’d have good time leafing through the magazines (which I would never have bought on my own) with the TV on in the background, killing time until mom was done and ready to head back out.

Keep in mind, this is a *Geriatric* doctor where I don’t think they had a patient under 80.
Sometimes you gotta love living in the south. Prior to moving near us, mom lived in NJ and MA. You’d never find a doctors office like this up north.

I take several of the gun mags I receive and give them to a local hospital P/T department. Most guys don't care to read Redbook or Teen.
