My buddy showed me how to detail strip the slide and the frame, I was surprised at how easy and simple it is. and now I'm thinking about adding some custom parts to my 30sf:supergrin:. I'm thinking of getting a zombie slide plate cover and maybe changing out the pins to either stainless or titanium. Anybody have pics of glocks they have customized?

Or you could polish factory pins and save some money....

That looks awesome! did you use something like mothers polish or did you just use sand paper?

2000 grit to get the black off then Mother's. I don't sand very hard on the outside of the pin as to change how tight they fit but I do polish it. I had bought a chrome pin set from RockyourGlock.com, but I prefer this and now chrome set is in my wife's 26. The chrome is more of a silver paint look than chrome.... I had thought about the titanium ones but for the money saved here is another 150 rds of ammo.

The person that I built this gun for suggested these sights, but after getting to try them out, I really like them. You can check them out at www.advantagetactical.com

The only mod I think is worth considering is a stippling job.

Glock night sights and inner tube for grip is all I need. I stippled my first Glock, I liked it, then put some inner tube and liked that even more. I just got my second Glock and it had Ghost springs and it had like a 2lb trigger pull. It was nice for the range but I'm used to the stock trigger so I went to Glock and swapped everything out.

You *nailed* the press check - you DO have this trademarked, or just borrowing the idea??? :wavey:

That's a great option - should save wear and tear on holsters too!

Shucks, why wouldn't you want it front AND rear???

How Much? to get the press check 'embeded'?

Thanks, it is my design. We CNC mill the pockets and laser cut the press check inserts. The cost is 120.00 Did you notice that we also added a few more rear cocking serations and that they wrap all the way around the top of the slide.

Thank you. I'm really happy the way it turned out. This gun is going to be featured in American Handgunner Magazine. Please be looking for it soon.

Would love to see both ends of the pistol with recessed 'slide racking textures'... Same recessed front and back.

Hmmm... wonder if it's possible to get a LoneWolf stainless without the rear serrations.

Love my 2 tone G27 (Std grip with Stainless LW slide)and would love front press check grips like you have cut - and the ability to change the *color* when desired. (Skateboard Tape)

You may have a really cool niche developing for you here - especially in the USPSA / IDPA circles if your press check grips are legal...

And could you do a recessed diamond pattern?

Get those Production USPSA shooters to really bling out their Glocks (LOL) like the Limcat Customs look...

    Nice work!

Patrick, I like the way that you think. I hadn’t thought ofcolored skate board tape. But I really like it. I own a CNC machining business andwe have actually thought about building our own slides. We also manufacture acool little product called TMT Tactical Wallets. If you get a chance you can checkout at tmtwallets.com Thanks again for your input…Jim
