I've had 3 differently configured G35s now, one I built up myself with decent parts and a 3.5 pound connector and the other one I shot stock for a few months and then sent it off to Matt at Custom Glock Racing for some added "race handling".

Last year I got Matt to put the bells and whistles on a G35 for me. New barrel, CGR trigger, heavy metal parts, CGR race cut heinies, etc.

I shot it a bit once I got it and really liked it, but until last weekend, had really not put it through the paces. I have a 100 round practice session that I go through that forces me to work on my IPSC skills while blending in a few fun factor rounds. I keep track of time, As and Bs as 5 points, Cs and Ds as 2.5 points, and "Mikes" so I can keep track of my hit facotrs. Anyway, my total time with the G35 I sent to CGR in stock configuration was 42 seconds, with 32 Cs and Ds. My time with the one I built was 36 seconds with 23 Cs and Ds. My time with the CGR racing G35 was 32 seconds with 12 Cs and Ds. That equates to a 47% increase in hit factor over stock and a 20% increase in hit factor over the G35 I built up. Once I get used to the easier reloads, I expect to improve that time a few more percent. Most people who had shot the G35 I built got kind of wide-eyed and were amazed that a Glock shot that well.

    Thanks Matt!

PS. It shoots really soft too ;f ;f ;f

Those are some very interesting numbers Mark and I am glad you like the gun.

PS Im sure it does shoot super soft, even softer than mine!

The large complete mag well vs. a slug magwell and the oversized extended mag release. I have not clocked them directly yet, but the reloads are getting faster and faster. I used to have to do the little flip to get my thumb on the mag release, now I don't have to. Faster, safer and results in a better grip after the reloads because I don't have to change it from my drawn grip.

Actually no. The Cs and Ds with the CGR G35 are mostly Cs between the upper panel and the A zone. With this gun, better timed with lower weight springs, I have a bit of a tendency to try to lift the pistol on the second shot. I knew I was doing that after we shot video last summer, but I did not realize how much effort I was putting into getting the pistol back onto target. I think I'll have it fixed in another 500 rounds or so.

    Ready for March;f ;f ;f

PS. Been doing quite a bit of home practice with airsofts. Since they don't recoil much, it seems that it is helping me put less "incorrect" effort into my cartridge pistols at the range. What do you think about that? Accurate?

The least you could do is show us some pictures and tell us how much it will cost us to replicate it..;P

(After all I have a 35 that needs something to do!)
