Hooligan74, I'm assuming you'd know: What's the current CF wisdom on running shoes, styles (Pose?), etc.?

Honestly, I don't hear Cf'ers talk too much about running styles, any more.

I've always been a mid-foot striker, so I favor minimalist or at least mild cushion running shoes. Never really tried the POSE stuff, so I can't comment.

Honestly I don't run much, except for sled-pulls or sprint intervals. Almost all steady-state cardio I do right now is on the rower.

Thanks. Are vibrams still the most recommended?

Probably. I know Fila and some others make similar types, but I'd go with Vibrams, personally.

I love my New Balance Minimus 730s, but they are discontinued. Current equivalent model is the Minimus Zero v2. These are more traditional running shoe design, though, not "toe shoes".
