There have been some local write ups so my wife and I ventured down to get one of those 'legendary' folk foods.

The Curly Dog is a foot-long hot dog, slice multiple times along one side of the length, deep fried. That causes it to curl up, in a spiral. They put it on a double-decker bun, with coney (sweet chili) sauce, lettuce, cheese and tarter sauce.

    $2.50

Man, I'm glad I don't live close to that place! I'd weigh 342 pounds!

The place is so small, I passed it up. They only have two people working there. It's close to the Camp Atterbury, so a few guys in fatigues came by. Anyway, they were so swamped they had to ask people to come back later. We waited 40 minutes for our two curly dogs.

But they were worth every minute waiting.

I just might try to make some myself someday.

Even though that is a migraine waiting to happen, that sounds really good :)
