i was shooting the cowboy matches many years ago predating sass. i hadto have a nick name and tried to be funny. i used woodrow stiffey for a few shoots until it was suggested i might want to change it. i still wanted something that would make people smile when announced so i took the name from arnold the pig from green acres.
My avatar is Banastre Tarleton. A British officer that lead "The British Legion" in the American Revolution. They all wore green and most of the legion was "cavalry" (Dragoons). Hence his nickname.
Ironically, most people in the British Legion were Americans that fought for the crown. My ancestors were "loyalists" and fought for the crown. Plus, I used to be a Revolutionary War reenactor and I was in a loyalist unit....we wore green uniforms as well as did many "provincial" units fighting for the king.
Cambo was a name given to me when I was a teenager by my cousin. We grew up in the same neighborhood, and I was the one who had a huge arsenal of paintball and airsoft guns. In addition to that, I was the one who would win flashlight tag by dressing in black, and crawling on the ground to the base, unscathed by the light. The guys in the neighborhood would also have massive hand to hand combat fights featuring punches, kicks, wrestling, footballs and soccer balls (as projectiles), and wiffle ball bats (as clubs to hit each other with). I was usually the last man standing for those. What great times growing up.
"Cambo" is a combination of "Rambo" and my last name.
So you should of picked 'Q' as your handle like the tech guy in James Bond.

First user name for an old BBS called Nova. It was just syntaxerror (BASIC language error) but with the introduction of the internet I needed to add the six as apparently the username was becoming popular. It's been that way for more than twenty years now.
