What would cause GLOCK TALK to BAN an IP ADDRESS??

Someone I know has tried to register with GLOCK TALK and recievved the notification : "Your IP Address Has Been Banned."

Does this banning involve the IP (AOL.com) or the particular person?

    Can anyone explain please?

    Thank You!

IP addresses are baned in response to certain members creating multiple accounts after one is banned, etc.

Yes, one form of banning is IP banning. All members from AOL for instance are not banned though, sometimes blocks of IP addresses are banned to stop the trouble makers from coming back here. As far as what IP blocks are banned specifically that would be question for Eric. :)
