    I just use Jergens with aloe vera .Drink plenty of fluids to hydrate the body, eat fruits and vegetables. And maybe spend a good time in the tub to soften the skin.

    I would think that a case of (-CRACKED DRY LIPS-) would over-ride the hands , mentally ! Or perhaps a good lotion and "Chap-Stick" !

    On a serious note: Vaseline , lightly wet hands and stick them in some sort of water-proof glove for maybe one and a half hours every other day , the hands ! Lips , also Vaseline , a light coat when needed.....!

    :rofl::rofl:

    Perhaps a humidifier might help. If you have tried a few different over the counter items with no luck, maybe a dermatologist visit might help.

    Wash your hands with cold water, tends to leave your hands natural oils. Just use plenty of friction when washing. I wash my hands at least 40 times a day when I work, it's worked for me so far. Bag balm and udder balm I have heard good things about.

    I don't let it bother me. Sometimes in good light I look at my hands and realize how old I'm getting. Only part of my body that shows any age.

    My daddy worked with his hands outside up until the day he died. His hands would crack so bad in the winter time they would bleed. There's only 1 thing that would work for him, and he tried everything out there.

    I remember seeing a tube of this by his recliner at all times since I was a small boy, and I'm 32 now.

    Big 2nd on the Cornhuskers lotion. For the first few days, put it on your hands before bed, and put on a pair of latex gloves.
    It's always worked for me.
