My Father in Law bought me a set of pretty nice ones for Christmas, I've never had a set before but I think they will look pretty sharp. They are made by a company called Dolan Bullock which I know nothing about, but the FIL is a very sharp dresser so I'm sure they are pretty good quality. Now I just have to find some shirts. Anyone else ever wear them?

Only on very formal occasions (ie: Weddings, Graduations, etc).

I have not worn mine since the late 60s or early 70s. Back then I owned a couple of shirts with french sleeves. Guess if you rent a tux you could always wear your own cuff links.

Yeah, very classy. Your hardest part will be finding a shirt. My suggestion is to go to a formal shop (where you rent tuxedos). They will probably have a variety for sale there.

My fiancee is a wedding officiant (she performs the ceremonies). We go to lots of weddings. I have several french cuff shirts. Men's Wearhouse has a good selection. I have a few sets of cufflinks, my favorites are the Guiness and Retired USAF sets.

I wore some at my daughters wedding a couple of weeks ago, so that makes twice in my life that I've worn them!

Yes, I wear them with some regularity. I like French cuff shirts. Pay attention and be careful not to lose one. I am terrible at finding that my right cuff link (I'm right handed) has pulled out due to it getting snagged on something like when carrying my toddler-age son. I usually find that it doesn't pull all the way out through both sides of the cuff but rather hangs up in one side of the cuff however. Enjoy the cuff links.

Quite a few of my shirts have French cuffs. I can dress business casual for the most part, but when I have to wear a tie, I love to wear my cufflinks, even if it is with sport coat and slacks.

The ladies of all ages veritably swoon when they see them.

I wear cuff links all the time. Got about a dozen pair. Have 4 pairs made by David Webb. My favorite is the lion heads. I had them change out the Emerald Green eyes for Red Ruby eyes. I like to wear them when I go into negotiations.

Kind of puts me in the proper frame of mind of eating my opponent alive.

I highly recommend Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. They are form the UK, very reasonably priced, and excellent quality.

French cuffs are very popular right now. From a woman's perspective, they look very stylish, as long as they are small and understated. Rhinestones, or other glittery stuff is not good.

Thanks for the tip, I checked out their website. The shirts look great and they are running a great sale. $120.00 shirts for $35.

They were in: in the 1950's.

I got tons of them for my Bar Mitzvah.

I have recently given them to my son and son it law.

Got a great son in law.

His father was a no good.

So I just treat my son in law like a gentleman he is and we have a good relationship.

I do little things like listen to him. When he asks I tell him what is best for him.

Works good the last 13 years.

They are very classy. My husband has worn them on formal occasions. Weddings, etc.

I remember that my dad had cufflinks and it seems like he wore them often...
possibly to church every Sunday. I don't honestly remember. I just know he always had cufflinks. Things in Florida were much less formal when we moved here, plus it was warmer and men wear short sleeve shirts year round; so he didn't wear them as much down here.

    Very classy though!
