Was watching CSI this afternoon and thought about how boring it would be if people actually exercised their Constitutional Rights on the show...man, that show would DRAG if they actually had to follow Due Process... They would never just walk into a house after the homeowner opened the door, then pull the old 'Can I use your bathroom' trick in order to search around. They would never get a DNA swab without a warrant. Brass wouldn't just search anyone without arresting them. I guess I get into the show too much, I sit there and talk to the actors: "Man, that's a violation of your 4th Amendment Rights, don't let them do that!" or "Ask for a lawyer!", which they never do, they always just come right out during the last five minutes and confess...and just WHY are CSI techs doing all the interviewing in lockup, anyhow? Hey, slow day, what can I say?
