I guess we all do...I do.
You can keep hoping, but they won't. :fred:I hope to hell they all go bankrupt.

Did you see Korean Zombie choke last weekend?Believe it or not, Actually, the only "entertainment" that has come close to generating the same "experience" is professional wrestling. They've got fans on webcams displayed on signage boards with Real fan audio. The other "sports" that are coming close to matching the traditional experience is boxing, UFC and NASCAR. All the rest are basically Hocus Pocus and ala-ka-blam!
Before I comment, I read the profiles of every member in the thread, add a few thumbtacks and bits of yarn to my investigative cork board, then I settle in and git to trollin'.I do.
Yeah, a bunch of the UFC's went only a round or two. We also stream Top Rank.Did you see Korean Zombie choke last weekend?
In the hype vid before the fight, he said that he fights for the crowd appreciation -- that it's the applause that motivates him.
Then, in his first crowdless fight, he couldn't get his striking off. That is never a problem with him.
I thought it was sad; the guys who need to have an audience are going to fade away. I wonder if that's what happened with Tony.
Pro wrestling admits what it is. The ball sports pretend they are different.I turned on the TV the other day and it happened to be on a channel with a football game on. I saw the empty stands and heard the crowd noise dubbed in. It was so plastic and fake, it was kinda like pro wrestling.

Wonder how long the average person cheering and clapping has been dead in these audio enhancement sounds.I’m watching wheel of fortune right now, and there’s clapping through the whole show.
I have seen a few plays in football games that made me wonder how much pro wrestling and ball sports might have in common...Pro wrestling admits what it is. The ball sports pretend they are different.
Pretty soon construction workers will be playing taped catcalls at passersby during lunchbreak.Okay so, is anyone else *watching SNF and listening to the GHOST CROWD cheering?
I mean, it's an empty stadium...
Sorry NFL - just too dumb - it's like having a comedy show with a "laugh Track"...wait...
*Just watching 'cause it's my job....
It is part of the television production. It is done for two reasons, makes the broadcasts sound "normal" and it covers adult language that may emanate from the field and be picked up by the broadcast. Are the faux fan cheers really on the loud speakers in the stadium or are they just dubbed behind the blathering of the color men?
I agree that football is boring, but that's because I didn't play and so I don't understand what I'm seeing. Are the faux fan cheers really on the loud speakers in the stadium or are they just dubbed behind the blathering of the color men?
And since there is no one in the stands to show off to, do they still prance about and dance to celebrate scoring?
I have not watched a football game since 2008. Really I hate football, slow dull and boring. That is NOT my idea of entertainment.
