Crossdraw ????

    I carry my RIA Tactical in a Blanchi 50P crossdraw....

    Anyone else carry there 1911, in a crossdraw rig ?

    I'm suprised that none carrys cross draw....its awfully handy if carrying a shotgun or carbine.

    I've just never tried it most of the time I carry I'm trying to conceal my gun and crossdraw just is not as easy for that I'm glad it works well for you I might have to try it sometime

    I agree that it is a valid carry method, but is not ideal for concealment.

    I don't cc. I do from time to time oc. I have and enjoy using a Bianchi Cyclone 111 with my SA 1911. The neat thing is that if needed, I can shift it to strong side carry.

    A fullsize 1911 is my most offen carried gun ..in CC and just carry...I somtimes 'just carry' ..concelment at times.
    In TN we have carry permits, concelment or open.

    Open carry at times, has a its benifits.

    I used to carry mine in a cross draw shoulder rig. Went with an IWB holster instead. Cross draw is very comfortable when driving. Actually, it's very comfortable in most situations.
