not sure this is the best place for it but would like to talk about some crazy/stupid gun laws for example

AR 15 : they are so modular that many own several types.So if you own a AR rifle and a AR pistol that is fine but switch the pistol upper to your rifle lower and like that you are a (criminal/felon)

VERTICAL GRIPS ON PISTOLS : this is the worst of all in my book vertical grips can be bought almost any gun store with no reading/signing or any kind of warning just pay for it a but it on the ( Rifle ) you would like if you put it on a pistol then you are a (criminal/felon)

SHOTGUN BARRELS LENGHT : this is another law that doesn't really make sense first they sell 2 2/4 " barrel 410 pistols ( lenaid )? makes 12ga. derringer

NO HI CAP MAGS: a few state have had the bright idea to limit the number of rounds you can have in your gun to 10rd. this is crazy

MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND : and all of these laws can be overcome with money (what a joke)

and biggest point of all is that criminals dont care will make SBR , cut down shotguns , convert weapons to full auto and use illegal hi cap mags and then kill people that only have 10rd to protect them selves

There are a bunch of dumb laws out there, and as we fight to get them off the books it is incumbent on the good guy packing the 10 rounds to be very good with them as they are sent downrange. There aren't too many POS criminals that log a lot of range time .

What really gets me is that States can make laws as they please without first being checked by the Supeme Court for Constitutional compliance.

So, then we have to spend our money and years of time fighting Unconstitional laws to have them removed. In the end we (the people) usually win, but I don't think we should even have to deal with this crap.

AR laws in CA are the worst. They tried to ban them by name and by type, so besides the LIST there's the whole evil features fiasco...

Then there's the bs handgun Drop Test $$$afety list. Manufacturers supply umpteen guns to be "tested" (abused). Once a gun has passed the "test" the manufacturer must then pay as long as they want their gun on the approved list. And even when a given model passes and is listed, any compact/longslide/whatever version is treated as a new model and must also be tested.

What happens if, after many years of sales, a manufacturer or importer stops paying for a model to be on the list? No more sales of that model in CA (ie makarov iirc).

I think all gun laws except the chinese gun ban(I only support it because I have no faith in manufacturers here keeping their production of firearms in the US) are crazy.
