There’s a furniture store in Fresno called “Crazy Bernies”. Sure as shooting, tonight one of the stations showed a Bernie Sanders commercial, immediately followed by a Crazy Bernie commercial. Coincidence? Cool sense of humor?
    Who cares. It was great!

I hate to say this, but if you listen closely to Warren, Buttegeig, Klobuchar, Biden, Bloomberg, etc, then old "Crazy Bernie" is no more crazy than the rest of them.

Dont sweat it, you can just go to Canada. There would be some vacancies there when all of our dramatic losers from the last election come home.

In some perverse manner, were Sanders elected I would want to stick around to watch the show. His election would probably ensure the eminence of the Republican party for generations.

Will it be funny when young public school indoctrinated communists go to the polls in droves for the first time ever in history to vote him as #46?

They have all jumped on the socialist bandwagon because the press, which is leading them by their noses, has convinced them it's what the cool kids are doing this election year.

I am considering the idea that the communists have infiltrated the journalism field a lot more than they have infiltrated even the Democrat party and they are using the press to lead the party farther left.

Young people like Bernie because he promises free stuff. They have no work ethic to get it themselves.

Interesting you should say that. I have been thought-experimenting about where I would go to keep freedoms and resources if left takes over here. Conclusion was: there's nowhere else I can think of.

My next thought was, where would I go given loss of freedom and similar levels of corruption? Somewhere warm, where my money would go further and maybe buy some peace and maybe legal access to mind-numbing substances. Canada was one (closer though not warmer), but I hear Italy has a deal that you pay a flat tax fee and they leave you alone. Not sure I could afford the flat fee but a thought. Another research project to add to my list.

I'm too old for this Shtuff.

I don't think the Democrat party back room powers are going to allow an "Independent" to be the party nominee. They screwed him out of the nomination in 2016 and I expect the same thing this time.
But then again I'm not sure he wants to be the nominee. He just likes the money that "capitalism" gains him. Communism for everyone else.

Though there are exceptions, I think there are enough of all generations that want this, not caring where the money will come from.

What may be more telling is that I've read that the newer generation does not want to be big consumers: they are not buying houses or cars. If they are content with living within their means and living with the consequences, then hopefully I will be gone by the time their lack of interest in material things kills the economy.

The socialists who want everything for contributing nothing can still kiss my working class, couch potato-enabling appendage.

It's just so hard for me to believe the best that the dems have to offer is the initial list of candidates they had for president.

But then, look at the congressional leadership team of Pelosi, Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Chuck Schumer, Steny Hoyer, Dicky Durbin, Maxine Waters....on and on.

Really the best leader in the whole party is AOC but she hasn't got the sense God gave a goose ! (as my mother used to say)

There honestly is not a person in that place that I would hire to run a car wash !

I would not be skeptical of a (voluntary) socialist takeover of the U.S. We have a lot of smart people saying that +/- 25% of the workforce will be irrelevant in a future run by automation and AI. People with no future will flock to people who make promises and those promises will be fulfilled by progressive taxation.

So yes, it is definitely a possibility.
