Pat Crawford's overbuilt assisted opener is a patented, aggressive cutting machine for tactical professionals. There is nothing mellow about his custom Triumph™ Folder which Pat calls, “a fast cutting machine for professionals.” Like Pat says, “I was impressed by the strength and slashing ability of a reverse-curve Tanto blade, so that was where I started designing the Triumph. It has a different look, not as art, but as an entirely functional shape.”
CRKT's Triumph Folder is a large and formidable tactical knife designed for grip, with double finger choils, thumb friction grooves and deeply grooved G10 scales. The 420J2 stainless steel liners, one locking, are a hefty 0.1” thick.
The beefy 0.14” thick blade is a dual-grind Tanto with a recurve to aid cutting and a false top edge grind for penetrating power. Blade steel is premium AUS 8 stainless steel. Both Razor-Sharp as well as Combined Razor-Sharp and our exclusive Veff™ Serrated edges are available. Developed by Oregon City, Oregon, knife designer Tom Veff, these serrations are wide and angled at 60 degrees to the edge. The resulting cutting points bite instantly and dig deep upon contact, slicing smoothly and effortlessly.
This Triumph Folder has CRKT's patented OutBurst™ assisted opening mechanism which instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees. To maximize safety, the Triumph is fitted with the exclusive patented AutoLAWKS™ safety that automatically actuates when the folder is opened and locked, creating a virtual fixed blade instantly.
“K” series with matte black EDP coated blade with special black and green G10 scales. Diagonal CNC-machined grooves in the G10 give excellent grip in wet and muddy conditions. The Triumph is fully ambidextrous, with dual thumb studs that allow fast either-hand opening. The two-position black Teflon®-plated stainless clip is removable and allows left or right tip-down carry. As Pat Crawford says, “Speak softly, and carry a big Triumph.”

NOT a switchblade; but, has a fast opening, very secure and fully automatic double-locking blade. (Will NOT snap closed on your fingers!) This is a serious knife for someone who needs more than just a pocket folder.
