Can anyone fill me in on the cost of membership and entry fees for competition at the Armscore range? I am still waiting for the release of our Armscore .45 so I can enter.
Also how often do they have fun shoots?
(I am an American resident here.)
    Thanks.

    Welcome to the BOG.

Armscor membership should cost you more than 2000 pesos. Clubshoot and level 1 matches cost about 500 pesos. There's one scheduled this Feb 19-20. Usually, Armscor holds a monthly clubshoot.

Look us up, there will probably be a BOG shooting on Saturday or Sunday.

Here's a map so you won't get lost.

My newness is showing. What's a BOG?
    What time do they begin?
Do they have pistols there to rent if my wife does not have the PTT yet? (We have been waiting for a few weeks for that.)

    BOG - Band of Glockers.
If you're caucasian it will be more than P2000 to be a member.

I think they have pistols for rent. Why'd you get a single stack instead of the hi-cap .40? If its going to be a game gun, try the .40

The gun is also being used for home protection. The wife may be using it too and it is a step up from her Walther.
I am staying in Marikina a lot. We drive past the road to the range when we go to our own house. The range is on the way. I just never saw it before.
The Armscore was recommended to us for the combination use. I have fired the Glock 17 and a 1911 Armscore once and it was between the two. I went with the recommendation.
I am caucasian and I have been paying the extra fees from the Bureau of Tourism. I had hoped that when I became a permanent resident that would change but, I guess I will just have to accept it. That is also why the gun is in her name.
I am retired here and am hoping to use this to occupy some of my time. I have never fired in competition and it looks interesting.
The membership is also the only way I can get into the IPSA or PPSA as it is here.
    Thanks.

What time do they start in the AM? I would hate to arrive when things are half over.

No I mean it and I'm not being a racist. If he's not Filipino Citizen but looks Pinoy he can get away with the high membership fee. ;)

Firing ranges are taking advantage of non-citizens especially Japanese because they have money to burn and the cost are just minimal to them (foreigner).
