The article is so poorly written as to be indecipherable. Might as well be a foreign language.

His home should have been one of the first places they looked.

Sounds like a series of mistakes were made...I agree, basic Police 101...go the the house first...of course if you don't get an answer to your knock, don't see anything suspicious thru the windows or smell anything bad...then you got little to go on...

My friends and I loved the Mickey Mouse Club when we were in elementary school. What a different world that was. I vaguely remember Dennis but, like many MMC fans, Annette was always my favorite Mouseketeer. I really liked the Spin & Marty segments a lot.

Very puzzling as to how someone could be missing for so long when he was in his own home.
Why would his family or friends not have checked there?

No since in searching a home until the smell is overwhelming for the Postman that has to keep dumping the over filled mailbox.

Can someone please explain to me why the police would have had to, quote, "cut a large spring," unquote, before the body could be removed?

    Makes no sense. :dunno:

Yvette Vickers was a 1950's "B" movie regular. She was also a Playboy Playmate of the month in the late 50's, I think.

She was found in her home one year after she died.

It is just weird that the police wouldn't search his house after being told he was missing. Why would you not force your way in? If needed, I would think any judge would sign a search warrant for that, but I'm not sure if a warrant would even be needed?

Why did the "concerned family members" wait so long to make any effort? Doesn't seem like they were all that concerned about him. Heck, they couldn't even be bothered to go to his house??

I hope that when I get to that point in my "old age", I will have enough friends and family around to at least try to call me if they don't hear from for, well, weeks or months. Very sad.
