It presents some of the issues on this topic from the perspective of LE (so it uses simpler language ).Maybe there is no ‘general duty’ to provide public services such as police protection, to which I will agree and counter that there is instead a ‘specific duty’ to provide such services.

Also, the Castle Rock v. Gonzales, No. 04-278 case attracted a lot of interest among LE, and the decision finally reached by the supreme court seemingly disappointed some DV organizations.
