If life was so bad for him, why not off himself instead of someone else. I hope the court doesn't bend to this POS attorney's.

What the hell is the matter with these people? If I ever decide my life has gone wrong and I want to end it, I intend to hop on my bike, ride to the midwest, and go right off the edge of a cliff, or go skydiving and just never pull my chute, or any other number of things. Nowhere into my line of thought does gunning down a cop seem like something I'd like to do if I wanted to end my life.

When it happened he supposedly said he was trying to suicide by cop, he wanted the responding officers to kill him.

But then he ran, and when they caught up to him he threw his gun out the window and stuck his hands up.

    He fails at everything.

Drag him out behind the jail and put a bullet in the back of his head. I honestly woud not care if an extra-judicial killing was carried out in this case.

You know when transporting such an individual it is possible squirrels might run out in front of the cop car. Repeatedly.

He should have thought about this before he killed the officer. Next I guess we will hear him request for the Guards at Angola to wear street clothes.

I would keep the unifroms in and if I was sheriff I would make sure the biggest most intimidating deputies were there. I may even make sure there was additional "security" in the form of SWAT in full Tac gear external vest and all.

    Eff him. Little dirtbag.

During a trial of the murderer of one of our officers, we were given instructions not to attend the hearings in uniform. Our administration's line of reasoning was that it might give the dirtba....defendant grounds for an appeal should he be convicted.

He was convicted and received life in prison instead of the needle he deserved.

It is probably a common motion filed by cop killer's attorneys.

    Regards.

They don't want them showing their psyco nature in court, it could prejudice their chances of convincing a jury that they are innocent and about to turn their life around any second now. Hard to do when they are foaming at the mouth.

Mind you, this is the same courthouse where a POS had his lawyer argue that the Confederate flag out front made him kill 2 people and then convicted him.

Screw him. He has already demonstrated his opinions and decisions are bad, why continue to kiss up to him.

In a perfect world, ONLY deputies who were friends with the slain officer would serve as bailifs during the trial. His friends and co-workers with the Shreveport police department would also attend the trial in uniform. Then he would make an attempt to escape.

To me that is NOT anything he has any influence on. Officers working, testifying SHOULD be in uniform (assuming that is normal attire at work) With gun, tazer, radio (turned off to prevent disruptions)

Folks too stupid to kill themselves... Should be assisted.

The only reason I might disagree is that belt looks REALLY uncomfortabe to have to sit while wearing for a long time.

They should be in full uniform and armed at least though. Leave the flashlight, radio and extra cuffs at home.
