I'm not a spelling Nazi, I wanted to see a girl do hollow point tests.

I need to get some Ranger T-series 230 for my .45 , carrying Federal HST 230 right now, sometimes CorBon 200 +p.

In 9mm I carry Corbon 115 +p but will look for DPX.

Good site for review. I like the way they laid it out and show the results.

That's an awesome comparison chart. Conveys a lot of info very clearly.

Anyone else notice the pattern to the great majority of the rounds fired?

I'm assuming the 5 rounds listed are shown in the order of their firing. Most of them show increasing penetration from 1st round to 5th.

I'm guessing this has to do with the gelatin losing resistance due to holes in it, it does sort of call into question the results though, at least the later shots.

Each is round is tested the same, so it makes a great relative measurement.

Um, this is REALLY old news. That site's been around for a while, and they've already updated it once (and are planning to do so again.)

It's not a bad test. But keep in mind, it's not done to industry/government/IWBA standards. So how applicable it's results are is questionable.

Guess I'll be sticking to Gold Dots, XTPs, Rem. GSs, and HSTs.
