I have bought both the 2004 and 2005 hardcover annual collections of recipes from Cooking Light. I highly recommend these publications. They contain many very good and easy recipes that are a bit healthier than most. Do not be misled by the "light" name. They're not a collection of tofu and wheatgrass recipes. They have good recipes of stuff you want to eat, but in somewhat slimmed down versions. Many ethnic and comfort recipes are included. I cooked a chipotle chicken chowder from the 2005 edition (just received for a Christmas present) last night, and it was awesome! Very spicy and flavorful. I have cooked several dishes from the 2004 edition during the past year and liked them all. The ones with pictures or staff recommendations can be counted on to please. If you like to cook, the $20 to $25 for one of these books is well worth it!
