Prob some scoring updates to be made. For maybe the first time ever my scores were correct .... first time in a long time. However, I know for sure one of the "shooters that did not show" did in fact shoot the match.

Team Window Lickers finished 2nd in AmCiv. Whoo Hoo. Another plaque on the way.
EDIT: One team member found a scoring error. Once corrected, this should move us to 1st place team.

Approaching the top 10%. 60/401 for me.

Bama must have skin on his teeth 'cause he keeps getting by, by it. Congrats to Team Alabama Holster Masters if it sticks...

EDIT: No apparent mistakes this time, on mine.

Our score should improve. They gave me too many penalty points.

WOW...over 1,000 Entries, and only THREE DAYS to get the "Prelims" up...THANKS, GSSF Staff!!!

DOUBLE WOW...401 Entries in "Amateur Civilian"!!! That's MORE THAN a LOT of Matches TOTAL Entries!!!

FWIW, I ended up on the "First Page" in "Am Civ"...down at the BOTTOM, however... :crying: ...but then, I guess that's not bad for only having Fired a Handgun ONCE since the third week in JULY... :tongueout: ....What is it Bama says, "PRACTICE is like CHEATING"??? Yeah, THAT'S THE TICKET!!! Come on, RANDOM DRAWING(S)!!!....mikey357

Every little bit of improvement is good enough for me especially since this is all new to me

Sounds like evryone did well and they didn't have to many problems with scoring (sorry Bama). Also sounds like the match was a huge success. Congrats to the GSSF and its shooters for making the sport grow!! Good job Greg, you showed ALOT of improvement since your first match from what you have told me. Keep that up and you will be winning soon!!!

If my calculations are correct,:dunno: With 1023 entries that makes 42 random guns and 258 performance awards to be given away.:wow: I'm not a big gambler but, thats looks like 1 in 3 odds of winning something for those who shot the match. Good Luck to everyone.

Just made the top 10%...but as I predicted, too many good shooters ahead of me, and I am relegated to the second page :crying:.

My scores were correct, as compared to the copies I received at the match.

Special congrats to the lady who won AmCiv... first time it has happened at Conyers? Beating 400 other shooters has to feel good!

Wei Young is a (Ladies Amateur) Team Alabama Holster shooter but was shooting for her club team this past weekend - whose team captain forgot to register the team. :crying:

She was Matchmeister at Reevesville. Not totally certain, but she may be moving to Master after this win.

This will be her 3rd gun, so ...:drowning: the pool gets deeper. I don't think they give out Top Female awards in any division other than Am Civ.

True, but they don't give away guns for "top female" either. It's either $75 or $100, I forget. She beat ALL the Am Civ entries at Conyers. Now that's impressive.
