Try True Weight, and PB Dionesio, but its too costly if you ask me. Get yourself a Ruger rimfMark III Rimfire pistol.

If you only want the feel of a true 1911 pistol using a low cost ammunition try the 22/45™ Mark III Pistols:

In 1992, Sturm, Ruger introduced the original Ruger 22/45 pistol, which featured a fiberglass-reinforced polymer grip frame that virtually replicated the look and feel of the popular 1911 Model .45 ACP pistol. Its familiar grip shape and angle, pushbutton magazine latch and the location of its manual safety and external bolt release made this new pistol the perfect understudy to the classic 1911 pistol. The 22/45 quickly became the first choice among shooters who wanted extensive target practice without the expense of centerfire ammunition.

When I was still there, there's a guy in Cavite who regularly posts in Buy$Sell his 1911 conversion kit for P12,000. Try checking B&S.

jbuisan - Got your pm. The vendor does not post regularly so timing lang siguro ang kailangan. Or he might have exhausted his stock.
    Good luck with your search.

if you really need to have a cal. 22 like Ruger Mark II, you might consider looking at it's copy from norinco. the M93 model,it's way much more cheaper than Ruger. just my 2cents:)

Hi Sir Mikol, Norinco sure is a good alternative to any expensive firearm. But that M93 model, is it available here locally? Sino distributor and around how much? Been wanting to get myself a good .22 (Mark II sana) but have to dispose first some "toys", baks ipakain ni commander sa akin lahat yun eh...;f

Tried browsing through the website of Norinco but cant seem to find handguns there. Puro eto lang nakita ko:
    Precision Strike Systems
    Amphibious Assault Weapons And Equipment
    Long Range Suppression Weapon Systems
    Anti-Aircraft & Anti-Missile Systems
    Information & Night Vision Products
    High-effect Destruction Systems
    Anti-Terrorism & Anti-Riot Products
Small Arms (rifles and anti tanks)
    Military Supplies

Nag aala Nicolas Cage, Lord of War ;e

www.norincosports.cn (this website is temporarily down)

cebuboy & i have a common friend who loves his M93. i think he got it from Royal Interarms or Marksman(Blue Dot).
you can also inquire from Denooh if they have this unit in stock.
