Conversion Barrels and IDPA

    Can you tell me if a Lone Wolf 40 to 9 conversion barrel for a G27 is legal for IDPA?

    Unfortunately I do not know for sure but highly suspect it is forbidden. IDPA has have turned into a regulatory commission so I automatically assume EVERYTHING is illegal "unless" you are a major supporter. I am totally disappointed in IDPA.

    I have to tell you this is as stupid a rule as you can get. Glock offers a G26 in 9mm and a G27 in 40. The two guns are exactly the same except the caliber (barrel). Lone Wolf offers a simple drop in conversion barrel that allows you to shoot 9mm ammunition from the G27. There is no advantage except the owner has a choice of shooting either caliber.
